Azha Ocean Breeze is a four-note citrus aromatic, and the short list is the point. Lemon and mandarin open it, a single lavender note sits in the middle, musk and cedarwood close it. Nothing sweet, nothing heavy, nothing that requires a decision: the one for a morning where getting dressed already felt like a project. It sits at the entry point of this list on price, so it is also the least fraught thing to try first.

Anfar London Azure Spirit is the one to buy if you only want one bottle. It opens cold and green on lemon, mint and green apple, moves through ambroxan, geranium and tonka bean, and lands on Madagascar vanilla, vetiver and cedar. The fresh opening is the shortest part of it; most of the wear is woody and vanillic. In practice, what you smell at eight in the morning and what someone smells at eight in the evening are different fragrances. One honest warning about the rest of Floral & Feminine: Azha Gorgeous Gardenia contains no gardenia, and Azha Eternal Nights dries down drier than it starts. Both are good. Neither is quite what its name suggests.
